Please take the necessary precautions to avoid heat related injuries.
It's going to be in the upper 60's today, in the Pacific Northwest and should be in the low to mid 70's by the end of the week.
Please be careful out there;-)
Cheers,
Dugger
Time to fire up the AC unit:sun:
Still in the 70s to mid/upper 80s here, with the low humity feels OK. I think this is the longest spring I remember.
35°F here this a.m., with a fresh skiff of snow.
Spring? We don't need no stinkin' spring!!

Alcohol Cooler built to go along with survey crews' vehicles is my guess 😉

Heat related injuries can sneek up on you and occur when you least expect them.
Last year we were through with a long, hot day and stowing the gear at the rear of the truck. I obtained a nasty gash in my palm while trying to open a bottle of beer on the tailgate and the bottle broke.
All the crews were informed to use cans after that incident. "Safety First" is our motto.
We are in that serious "layer" time of year. Start out with several and come in with one.
Visitors always ask why I kept my alcohol beverages in the freezer when I went to mix a drink and ask them to had me the bottle.
I respond by asking if they found any ice trays in there.
😉
btw, its already been in the 90's "rounteer"
Burned up yesterday in Lawton. Predicted high was 85 but actual high was 98f. I thought my car gauge was lying to me until I got home and saw the news. That's a pretty big error in predictions. But, I suppose we are used to 'pretty big errors' in predicting Okie weather.
4AM now and 80f outside still. I think we might have another hot one coming up.
