Ok guys...I'll be out of commission for a bit while I get my eyes fixed. Doc has been on my case so I can't procrastinate any longer; either the eye gets it, or I will go blind. Fast. So, tomorrow I go in for my second eyeball surgery. o.O Fortunately this time it's only the left eye getting chopped on. Doc will wait and see if the right eye needs more chopping.
Doc says it will be about 2 weeks before I am able to start to see normal again so...once that happens, I'll be back to harass you guys as usual.

Then, after I am all healed up, I will be heading out of state again to take care of another sick family member. Cancer sucks!! :u: :'(
When you use the term "chopped on" I hope that is slang for laser surgery. Best wishes for a speedy and successful recovery! 🙂

I wish. It's a specialized, complex eye muscle surgery. My doctor is one of the only ones that does it for Kaiser in Oregon and Washington. She went to school with my former doctor who did my first surgery way back in April 2004. She's all excited to have one of his patients, but it is also bittersweet as he was murdered 6 months later after he did my eye surgery. 🙁

Don't feel like the Lone Granger!! I get to do the cataract thing in both eyes starting Septenber 10th. Then they also said something about "eye lid reduction" surgery.
We are nothing more than himan hamburger!!
My surgery is friday. Hernias. In and out. Pun intended.

No, and I wish he did...he was such a nice man and an even more wonderful doctor. I will always be forever grateful for the gift he gave me. It was so sad when all of that happened. Broke my heart. :u:
You can Google his name and find out what happened. It was on a bunch of TV shows, crime shows, etc... His name was Dr. Brian Stidham.
