Guess it's time to lose my "winter" coat.
Might even take off the "stashe" while I'm at it.
No, I'm not drunk or even close to it. Don't even have a beer in the house.
I'm sure to feel really strange in about 30 minutes or so. I've done this before and it always feels weird.
Opinions always vary. "It makes you look older and smarter." Smarter is fine. But, older? Why would I want to look older?

I can only think of one reason.

Pray tell that would be what?

Edit: The "stache" went as well.

I got tired of the toboggan hair and ran a 3/4 inch comb on clippers all around, hit the sideburns with 1/2 inch comb and came back with a 1/4 inch comb over my stash and chin.

Dropped the spoils out back to give the birds some fluff for their spring nests.

Doing the same this morning.

4 inches of gruffy full beard heading to a trimmed goatee.

SWMBO ordered this before she left for work this morning.

This was just a being lazy beard anyway.

.."clean shaven" doesn't necessarily mean "clean cut".

I raked my "duck dynasty" lookin' winter growth off yesterday.
1st day of spring seemed appropriate.

I trimmed mine at the end of duck season, but still have a full beard. I tend to let it get all "Duck Dynasty" during hunting season. But with all the facility and refinery work we are getting I might have to shave it all off. Like a breather is going to save me from H2S... When (not if) this happens it would have been 7 years with the beard. Kids will freak out.

Maybe I ought to do it late at night and surprise the wife...

Just wait! When you get to my age, removing the beard makes one look YOUNGER.
