just watched an episode of married with children " how green was my apple" 1994 that had danny from the partridge family as the surveyor. Bundy and Darci fight over the improvements found over the line.
The building inspector was played by Gary Coleman.?ÿ Here's a quote from the show:?ÿ?ÿ
Al: That driveway out there. As you can see, it's built nowhere up to it's code. I made it out of ground up women's shoes. So, how much is the fine?
Gary Coleman: Well since you turned yourself in, I'll let it go at $100.
Al: I see, and what if I said I made it that way just to make you look like an idiot?
Gary Coleman: Then that would be $1,500.
Bud: And what if we called you a moron to boot?
Gary Coleman: $2,000.
Kelly: Are you sure you're not Gary Coleman from Diff'rent Strokes?
Gary Coleman: No, I am not.
Kelly: Good. I hated that show.
Gary Coleman: $5,000.

Here's what happens to Danny Bonaduce as the surveyor:
Peggy: Hey, are you sure you're not that little Partridge boy from 'The Partridge Family'?
Surveyor: Yes, I'm sure. I've never been sure of anything in my life.
[Reuben Kinkaid, the Partridge Family's manager enters]
Manager: Let's go! Come on, Danny we have to be in Pittsburgh by midnight. Come on... get happy!
[carrying a guitar case, the surveyor leaves]

Good ol' Al doesn't have both oars in the water.?ÿ Check out his attempt at calling the police because he believes the neighbor ate his apple:
Peggy: Al, don't tell me you're calling the...
Al: [on the phone] Police?
Peggy: Well at least don't tell them that you're...
Al: Al Bundy here. I'd like to report a missing apple. No, not some stupid computer, I'm talking about a fruit. I know it's not a donut, but it's important to me.
[to Peg]
Al: They're transferring me to the Chief of Stolen Produce. Hello, who is this? Lt. Granny Smith? You sound like that Officer Jalopy I talked to when I called to report the Dodge missing... Okay, that's it. I'm calling the mayor. Er, who is the mayor?
[writes down name]
Al: "McCheese". Okay you're in trouble now, Buddy, I voted for him.
[hangs up]
Al: And they say you can't fight city hall.
Isn't there anyone else here who grew up wanting to be James Rockford of the Rockford files? I do believe I've seen every episode ever made. Although you only need to watch one episode to know how all of the others are going to go.
Loved the Rockford Files.?ÿ Noah Berry was great as Rockford's dad.?ÿ I always wondered what he did after Circus Boy. 😉
My mother grew up in Denver, OK just east of Norman with the Bumgarner boys, Jack, Charlie and Jim, who later changed his last name to Garner when he got into films.?ÿ Jim was the youngest and my mother was Charlie's age.?ÿ She had a crush on Charlie in HS she told me.?ÿ She used to watch Maverick and later The Rockford Files?ÿand remark how Jim hadn't changed a bit since since she last saw him before WWII.
I last saw James in 2006 when he was here in Norman for the 4th. of July parade. He was visiting his his only surviving brother Jack.?ÿ?ÿ
Was watching Perry Mason late last evening and found Aunt Bee from Mayberry showing up because her niece was getting married.?ÿ No, she was not the killer.?ÿ Darn it!
I think I saw Floyd the barber on a Gunsmoke episode the other day.?ÿ And I thought all those folks from Mayberry never got any further down the road than Mt. Pilot.?ÿ
In 1958, Howard McNear, aka Floyd the Barber, was Andy the Barber on an episode of Leave it to Beaver titled "The Shave."
Mayberry trivia
Q:?ÿOn "The Andy Griffith Show," how did Andy's wife (Opie's mother) die?
Answer:?ÿHow Andy Taylor became a widower was never explained.
The show, and Sheriff Andy, were first introduced on a 1960 episode of "Make Room For Daddy" with Danny Thomas. Andy Griffith, then a popular nightclub comic, was the guest star. Thomas encountered the Mayberry sheriff after running a stop sign for a road that had not been built. On that show, there was a scene that mentioned Opie's mother. But the episode did not give a cause of death or even reveal her name.
In the episode, an upset Opie ran into the sheriff's office because Mrs. Balford had stepped on and killed his pet turtle, Wilford, in front of the ice-cream parlor. Opie wanted his father to arrest Mrs. Balford, give her a fair trial and then hang her.
There were brief mentions of Opie's mother, but no explanations of exactly what happened to her.
Answer:Yes. There are lyrics to the theme song, but like the themes to "Star Trek" and "Bonanza," the wordless version was used in the credits of the show and is most commonly known.
The "Andy Griffith" theme had music by Earle Hagen and Herbert Spencer, with lyrics by Everett Sloane, a well-known character actor. The opening lines are: "Well, now, take down your fishin' pole and meet me at the fishin' hole/ We may not get a bite all day, but don't you rush away/ What a great place to rest your bones and mighty fine for skippin' stones/ You'll feel fresh as a lemonade, a-settin' in the shade." Andy Griffith recorded a single of the song with the lyrics.
Answer:Don Knotts left the series to pursue a film career right before "The Andy Griffith Show" went from black and white to color.
According to Jim Clark, the "presiding goober emeritus" of the Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club, the largest fan club for the show, "The basic story as both Andy Griffith and Don Knotts usually told it: Andy had always talked about doing five seasons. As the fifth season was winding down, Don Knotts figured he'd better look into finding other work. He was offered a nice movie deal with Universal Pictures. "Meanwhile, Andy didn't get any offers that he liked better than working on 'The Andy Griffith Show,' so he decided to continue with the show. Though Don hadn't yet actually signed the deal with Universal, he still felt committed to it, and movies were something he wanted to try."

"Well, I believe I will have another big orange."
Caught the last few minutes of a Have Gun Will Travel episode today.?ÿ A primary character was a Frenchman named Etienne.?ÿ I thought there was something familiar looking about him but couldn't figure it out in such a short time.?ÿ No wonder I had a problem.?ÿ It was Colonel Klink (Werner Klemperer, a native of Cologne, Germany)?ÿ from Hogan's Heroes using a French accent.
As I recall, both William Shatner and Steve McQueen appeared in Perry Mason episodes.
When I watch Perry, I always pay careful attention to see if Sgt Brice has a speaking part.
He was in 120 episodes of the 271 total.?ÿ Popular, but generally silent, fellow.
Did you know he was also in 17 episodes of Ironsides and made an appearance in the TV movie, Perry Mason Returns?
I knew he was in Ironsides. Supposedly, he doubled for Raymond Burr in some scenes of Perry Mason. I don't think I've ever caught him at that.
Learned several new things about Perry Mason last evening.?ÿ Episode 13 in Season 1, The Case of the Moth-Eaten Mink, was very interesting.?ÿ It was filmed in 1956 and was the true pilot episode yet it aired in December 1957 after twelve previous episodes but carries a copyright date of 1958.?ÿ We actually saw Paul Drake in his office and got to see his receptionist.?ÿ His office is in the same building as Perry's office.?ÿ It is mentioned that Perry has a much larger staff than we ever see, but, there is no visible proof of this.?ÿ Lieutenant Tragg was a major character from start to finish.?ÿ At one point Tragg refers to someone as a "fink".?ÿ Today it would be a much worse four-letter or longer word.?ÿ Burger only had a few minutes as the true murderer was discovered outside of court.?ÿ Perry and Paul get around town in a Yellow Cab instead of a sleek convertible of some sort.?ÿ Mason and Tragg team up to get the bad guy.?ÿ After Tragg shoots the murderer, Perry says he will get an ambulance.?ÿ Tragg quietly tells him, "Don't-----uh-----hurry,"?ÿ He wanted the bad guy to suffer.
Here are some other trivia about that episode.?ÿ https://metv.com/lists/6-little-differences-you-never-noticed-in-the-perry-mason-pilot-episode?marketid=110
The small-time actor, Brian Hutton, who played the parking lot attendant went on to be a significant movie director.?ÿ Of the following, I think Kelly's Heroes was the most popular of his movies
?ÿ
Lee Miller, who played Sgt. Brice did appear in Perry Mason Returns?ÿbut if you blink you will miss him. He is really just set dressing that the camera pans by as another character walks by him.
His real role in the shows production was as a stand in for Raymond Burr during camera setups, etc.
