snow that glows?

They have detected the fallout from Japan in rainwater in NH and MASS. We're supposed to get a foot of Snow in NH tomorrow (APril Fools?) Will it be snow that glows?

Elko seems like it might be a pretty safe spot.

As long as the Bunny Ranch doesn't suffer, it's all good 😉

> The 8.9 (revised 9.0) quake + massive subsequent tsunami is essentially an Armageddon type event.

No. By definition "Armageddon" happens once, and only once. 9.0 earthquakes and tsunamis are rare, but normal.

This event is a "Black Swan". Something that nobody predicted but once it happens everybody dope slaps and realizes they should have. And something that changes everything going forward.

In the eyes of the victims of such an event, 1000 years ago, it would've have seemed like an end-of-the-world scenario.

Maybe "apocalyptic" would've been more precise

Yes that is right, we have to light up everything brightly at night. Must make more power.

After seeing that map I am reminded of "How to Lie with Maps." Its an interesting map, but the idea it creates it preposterous...

The boards do accept it. I used 40 hours of Hazmat training some years ago to update my License when I went to work at a nuclear bomb site.
