The Dude at 2:03 with the red guitar looks like Tom Petty did back in the day.

Thanks man. I just made a radio station for that song. Happy Friday!

Make sure that it includes "Mr. E's beautiful blues", "Saturday Morning", and "Novacain for the soul". 😎

One of my car's radio buttons is set to KOST, pronounced "coast". It didn't used to be one of the presets, but I had to reset them all after I banged on the dashboard a few times to get all the invading ants to come out and get squashed. KOST has now switched over to 24/7 holiday music...I think I need to find another station.

Don't know about CA. but in FL. stores start dragging the Christmas stuff out after Labor Day. Of course the radio stations follow suit. If I hear "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" one more time I'm certain I'll be institutionalized for my life's remainder. :p

I suspect, other than the pre-Thanksgiving onslaught, another problem is that most of what is played these days as "holiday music" is only "music" in the same sense that McDonald's is a "restaurant".

WARNING this music is what I consider the season to be about. If you don't like Christmas please don't listen, I AM NOT trying to force my opinion on anyone.

I love traditional Christmas hymns, but I really don't care for that song.
Yes, she knew....Luke 1:30-35

Then again, I dislike most music composed since Mahler's 8th; for Christmas music this is right up my alley

Well here in the southern hemisphere, Christmas is summer and also the wet season. But the radio stations and supermarkets still pump out songs like "Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening A ... Walking in a winter wonderland. ..." and the punters sway and sing along. So I wondered if there were southern takes on carols, and of course from our Aussie friends there are: "We wish you a ripper Christmas! ... Have a ripper Christmas everyone and a snappy new year ..." I bet there's some more colorful ones out there.

It is not Christmas until I've heard "Run Rudolph Run"
