When you get up to pee at 3AM next week, stick your head out the door and watch the sky; the Perseid meteor shower should be at its peak. In conjunction with an almost moonless sky over most of North America it could be a good presentation this year.
I could do that. Too bad so many of you have neighbors.

Why waste all that energy? Just walk outside to pee and look up. Try not to pee on your feet's. 😉

That's definitely one of the benefits of country living! I've seen several shooting stars when the dog and I went outside for the "just before bed" bladder relief.

That's what I was thinking - It must be a good idea.
When you're out bushwalking as we call it here (tramping, hiking) one of the highlights can be those nightly forays outside to pee.
The sights in the clear night air in our high places is truly magnificent.
Most likely, I would need to cut down some trees to see enough of the sky.
I hear peeing on you feet is good for athletes foot.....

That explains a lot!! Religious peeing involves clasped hands so you are bound to pee on you feet. Also explains why pious men always wore sandals.
