Wow! Those are some tough kids. Their parents have prepared them well for something in life other than "creature comforts" and video games. No participation ribbons in their culture.
Yes it is amazing, especially considering their ages. No shelter, no real food source. I would like to hear their story.
I could go on a rant about how that situation would play out with American youngsters, but perhaps I won't.

My dad was a commando instructor and I devoured all of his training manuals, plus read numerous "how to survive" articles. Find fruit the birds have nibbled; those are probably okay to eat. Look for habitation at night, when you can see the lights. And of course how to start a fire with two sticks.
