Local injection site pain that lasted 24 hours on the first two shots (Pfizer);?ÿ the third shot two days ago added muscle/joint pain, tiredness and mild nausea the following day.?ÿ I think that's a good thing, means my body mounted a strong response.?ÿ Oddly, I couldn't get an appointment at my nearest Kaiser facility until mid-December,?ÿ but found one 30 miles away with a slot available the following day.
A question for those who monitor their blood sugar numbers routinely.?ÿ Have you run higher than normal while your body is battling the vaccine?
In my case, the answer is decidedly, YES.?ÿ Happened with the first two shots and I am still running high since getting the injection around noon this past Friday.
Almost everyone vaccinated that I know had some sort of reaction be it minor or intense. I have had both Moderna shots with absolutely no reaction whatsoever. The shots were painless with no after effects. SWMBO says it's because the vaccine won't work on me. Hmmmmmm..... ?????ÿ
Like others, waiting for SWMBO's authorization for booster. ?????ÿ
Both my wife and myself had boosters last Wednesday. About 12 hours later we both had very sore arms for the next 24 hours and a big headache. After that no further symptoms. (Booster was Pfizer). First two vaccinations were Astra Zeneca which had no side effects whatsoever.
I've decided to let them finish data aggregation and qualification of long term results from the global human trials before deciding what's best for me and those closest to me.?ÿ I applaud, though, all those willing to engage in it.?ÿ Thank you.
Late last evening I noticed a pinkish area just below the injection site.?ÿ That has grown to be about four inches by five inches descending towards the outer side of my elbow area.?ÿ It is also changing slightly to being a bit darker than 20 hours ago and is warmer than my other arm in the same area.
I received my Pfizer Booster and Flu shot around noon today. I am hoping if I experience fatigue from either it will be while I am sleeping. I cleaned out the garage immediately afterwards. No issues. Settling in for some football now.?ÿ
Had 3rd Moderna shot last week, sore for a few hours then no further reactions.
The 2nd shot at the end of March made me feel sick for about 2 hours then fine after that.
So far I have had two Moderna injections, third coming up. Everyone I know had some sort of reaction except me. No swelling, rash, discomfort of any kind. I have no idea why. ?????ÿ
?ÿI have no idea why.
Possibly years of playing in the dirt, especially from an early age, have trained your immune system to quietly handle whatever comes along, so long as you aren't overwhelmed?
Original shot was J&J
?ÿ
Booster is Pfizer.
?ÿ
I'm also post Dx times 2 for Covid-19.?ÿ
?ÿ
I may actually be immortal now.
?ÿ
Slight malaise after both vaccines.
?ÿ
Carry on
I was fine yesterday but ran a temp overnight and into the morning. I??m guessing that was from the?ÿflu shot since I had no reaction to the previous two Pfizer doses ?ÿ
?ÿ
@bushaxe?ÿ
Had my flu shot last Monday afternoon.?ÿ Zero effects.?ÿ My wife had, in the past, some reactions that were flu-like.?ÿ Shehad no effects this time.
If you are in a state that you do not qualify for the booster and you want it, just find the counties with low Vaccination rates?ÿand call a pharmacy there to see if they have extra.?ÿ
I live in central Washington state, and have had two meetings with folks from out of town that were getting vaccinated while they were here, as they didn??t qualify in the city they lived in.
I had the Moderna for the first round, and the second shot put me through hell for about 6 hours with headache, stomach cramps, and fever. Decided to get the Moderna booster this week and 3 days in I haven??t had any repeat symptoms thankfully.?ÿ
