Just heard it on the radidio. Offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley will pick up where Bob left off.
Big shocker here in Norman. After 18 years I don't blame him, he's got the big house on the hill, millions of dollars in the bank and free side-line passes for OU football games the rest of his life.
I think coach wanted to grab a National title from Saban and the Tide before he retired but wasn't able to pull that one off....(but he did beat them in the 2014 Sugar Bowl 😉 )
Boomer Sooner!
Hmmm
When things like this happen sometimes the NCAA is about to put the gavel down for some infractions
Or
He was in terror of facing Tulane this Fall. ; )
Sure liked his brother out here in AZ!

I wondered. Seems as though he and his wife recently just plunked down 2.3 mil for a house near Chicago (he's from Iowa). His local news blurb pretty much said "I'm not sick and I'm not in trouble and the program is in good hands, I'm going to retire".
His two youngest boys just graduated HS last month. Guess I don't blame him for wanting to move where the summers are not so damned hot. 😉

Who knows?
They get the big bucks but the life must never end. A 24/365 job.

Chip Kelly is looking for work.
Stoops Oklahoma victory in the 2014 Sugar Bowl proved that Alabama was not unbeatable.
He took the ref factor out of the game and prevailed.

There are probably more college football coaches that have worked (or played) for Snyder than those that haven't. The man has probably forgotten more than most coaches will even know.

Yeah, but the winters are SO danged cold. I'll take our summers over their winters ANY day.
Andy
This year has been unseasonably mild here... mid to high 70's for second weekend of Jazz fest (unheard of), 85 today with low humidity, 69 tonight. It's rained a ton though, I guess that's the trade off.
Chicago is great for about three months out of the year (weather wise); you can have it for the other nine. As far as the rest of it, you can have that too...
Maybe he can start making TV commercials for Downstream Casino and replace Barry Switzer. Even better would be if he could get Tiger Woods to take John Daly's place in those commercials, as well. Four more months and ol' Barry will be turning 80.

Barry's also on several local ads here, including "Power Jack" foundation repair. He's not a very convincing pitch man. Stoops is worse sadly....
