So, I googled "Presco Flagging", as I like it. Well, up came this web site:
https://www.allenprecision.com/supplies/marking-supplies/flagging-flags/presco-texas-flagging/
Up came the APE web site.?ÿ OK... scroll down a bit, and there is a "For used and refurbished options, call 1 (888) xxx-xxx"
Now, my question, can they really go out, and get USED and REFURBISHED flagging, and sell it? I mean, My dad was quite frugal, and would use a 6" bit of flagging, to save money, and such, (I felt it was diminishing returns) More flagging, = better survey.
It just struck me funny. USED FLAGGING. OK... lets do it. Anybody got a case of 144 rolls of PINK Presco flagging for sale? USED is ok... but I prefer that it be rolled back onto the roll, and cleaned... Or a few cases in the closet, that they can sell?
Thanks!
Nate
There are always those rare shipping incidents where the boxes explode before they get to their destination.
I've sent stuff back before because without a carton to keep something in, what use was it in a streaming pile in the corner of the storage shed.
OK, I'll take a few 5 gallon buckets of flagging... Jus sayin!

I use the Presco Arctic Flagging. It's thicker and that makes it easier to put back on the roll.?ÿ?ÿ?ÿ Just kidding.
Also, now please no one get offended - ?ÿI took my last vacation in Texas and loved it - but the Artic flagging doesn't have Texas maps all over it and I don't really want to put Texan flags all over the island. ?ÿ
When ever I am doing recon and find old flagging, I always look to see if it "Texas" fagging. I always figure only a surveyor would be using it. Harry home owner would be buying his at the hardware store.
Oh this brought up some bad memories of a miserly cheap surveyor I worked for that would scour his subdivision sites for salvageable stakes and flagging. He would use his pocket knife and cut off the old markings and stuff all the used muddy flagging in a bucket and insist we use it.
It was horrible.?ÿ ?ÿ
