I'll bet Marshall's "friend" isn't. Hopefully he did get title insurance.

The agent selling any property must represent themselves property and disclose any know problems.
Somebody lied and made a sell and is now trying to claim the "I know nothing" because they got their money and do not want anything to do with it.

I'd simply walk away and lawyer up. Proving the buyer's bona fide actions and a good amount of culpability (if not fraud) on others would be a slam dunk for even a semi-good attorney I would think.

I just love the local news.

‰ÛÏIt‰Ûªs a natural rock formation that‰Ûªs been there for no telling how long,‰Û Bartow County EMS spokesman Brad Cothran said.

‰ÛÏSometimes people involved in these activities know how to play hide and seek sometimes,‰Û Captain Ledbetter said.

The uncle of the kid who sold the house is a real piece of work. This is happening in my county and I didn't see this thread before. The uncle Collum threatened or acted in a threatening manner several years ago towards and an agent and showed up at one of the more prominent realtor's home and got shot. He sued but lost, but he is infamous around these parts. There is not telling what the back story to they guy getting suckered into that deal were. The closing attorneys are reputable local attorneys, but I think they really messed up.
