Popped on to the Land Court website to look something up, and found a Notification and Request for Amicus Submissions on a question before the court pertaining to tax takings. This will be very interesting to see how the case shakes out.

The Massachusetts Land Court faces a constitutional issue regarding property rights and eminent domain. The court must balance the government's power to acquire private land for public use with the landowners' rights to just compensation and due process. This challenge underscores the delicate balance between governmental authority and individual liberties in the realm of property law.
