Land Surveying is not just my profession, its my way of life. I began surveying with my Dad when I was old enough to keep up. I began earning money at it when I was twelve and was turning angles on an old Lietz transit at thirteen. The last thing I was able to tell my Dad before he died was that I had passed the LS exam and was licensed. I owned and operated Carroll Surveying, LLC in Elberton, Ga from 1998 to 2014. I am now manager of the surveying department at A.B.E. Consulting, Inc. in Watkinsville, Ga.
