I am personally familiar with this area and would be shocked if the original surveyor set ANY monuments. There could be some, but I would charge more than the property is worth just to perform a search. I probably would decline any reasonable fee to set any corners. There is a reason that only rabbits live there…

Methinks that in Arizona a 300′-400′ deep well is a shallow one. Best be sure that it is on your lot.

Pretty much the same as Oklahoma – lots with no well, no survey, can be had practically for the asking. With well, with electricity, with access road, with survey – now you’ve got something.
