Last week I was at the threshold of a 6750' runway threshold (RWY 30 Approach to be certain) taking shots for a new project were setting up control for our local airport.?ÿ Open sky and planes.?ÿ Even had an active Shooter training with tourniquet applications....( ANOTHER BIZARRE facet of our new lives)

I've seen a few photos like this, of folk showing their work-from-home-isolation-setups and the laptop always seems to be sitting on something, elevated, and not sitting directly on the table. Is there a reason for this?
Yeah. I just moved into this house, and all my furniture is in storage in a different state, a violation of our current policies for me to travel to and retrieve. Yippee.
I have a mattress on the floor, most of the clothes I need, some of my cooking supplies, etc.
I wish I had that second monitor....
But mostly, because I enjoy standing while work, as I sat in a chair far too long before I got into surveying and geophysics.
