My neighbour at the end of the no-exit lane has been getting annoyed by people using his yard to turn their vehicles.
A 'private property, no turning' sign has apparently not worked, so now he is putting fancy electric gates across his driveway.
But it he cant have had?ÿ a survey done - I've just confirmed the new posts are metres into the legal roadway
I won??t tell if you don??t!
I won??t tell if you don??t!
Yeah, I'm too not sure what to do about this.
I'm affected personally as I sometimes use that wee bit of road to turn my Ducati. I'm also opposed to theft of public facility - that road belongs to everyone.
But then again no one other than them uses it much and, not being Russian, I do not actually want to start a neighbourhood war.
I just wish he had asked, I would have happily helped him get the gate in the right place
I??d give him a chance to correct it before getting anyone else involved. It sucks living at the end of the road and have people turning around in your driveway frequently.
He is not going to want to move the posts - they are wired and concreted in place and he has a new concrete driveway from the new gateway on in (repairing damage done by turning vehicles)
Think I'll just give him one of the pics to gently let him know that I know they are not on the boundary.?ÿ
Would not want to nark on him to the city.
@jimcox but if you do show him that and ??someone? eventually does narc, he will assume it was you probably. ?ÿYou??ve done your bit. ?ÿYou??ve done your research. ?ÿYou??ve reported it here. ?ÿWalk away. ?ÿYour check is in the mail.
