I like to take pictures of extreme safety violations. It is not my job, I'm just meddling. I thought this one would be relevant to surveyors that carry a battery around all the time for the robot or GPS.
It wasn't our employee, it wasn't even our jobsite. I was just there to help a concrete guy get started.?ÿ I have known him for years and he is also friends with my boss.
Oh nice! I am sharing this with our Safety Department, I'm sure they'll love it.
Not the best situation, but I wouldn't call that extreme danger.?ÿ It's open air so fumes won't be accumulating.
I pull up to a gas station, a kid (probably 30yo) is filling up some ATV's on a trailer behind his truck. He is standing over the open fill cap peering down into the gas tank, holding the gas spigot over it in his hand with a cig dangling out of his mouth almost into the tank. I drove?ÿoff to the next gas station. Just saying!!!!

Here's a couple of doozies......this generated a Nasty-gram from OSHA from my reporting of the conditions.?ÿ Note, this is inside a Pool Pump room in a Condo Complex in A well to do county in Colorado.
See if you can identify the amazing engineering that's going on here.....

I wonder if it was the same person.
