Great location with tons of history! Located near historic Saratoga Battlefield in Victory, NY.?ÿ
Victory Mill, which began operating in 1846, made 1.8 million yards of cotton cloth per year.?ÿ Several companies owned and operated the facility over the years and unfortunately ended up closing its doors in 2000. The remaining building which was built in 1918 was added to National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
We had a chance to get in to this building and take a look around to locate some monitoring wells. Found the last well in the basement.?ÿ
Overall a very cool experience to take a look back at some of the architecture around our area.
