Quantum Spatial is actively recruiting a Land Survey Manager to join our team in our Portland or Corvallis offices.
Description:
The role of the Land Survey Manager is to direct employees on complex geodetic projects ensuring that high quality work is performed in an efficient manner and to perform the work as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Acts as or works with Professional Land Surveyor (Project Surveyor) to ensure that all applicable work adheres to jurisdictional requirements
- 10+ yearsÛª experience on a survey crew, or related experience
- 3+ years in a people supervisory or management role
- Understands and applies the concepts of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Performs GPS processing and adjustments
- Understands and applies conventional survey techniques and procedures
- HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable technical training
- Licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor
- BachelorÛªs degree in Geodesy or Civil Engineering.
- PLS Licenses in CA, WY, ID and WA
Required Skills:
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work effectively with all associates and senior management
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external contacts
- Ability to work under pressure while maintain a positive and helpful attitude
- Well organized with the ability to handle multiple and competing priorities
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required.
