Geospatial Technical Sales Representative
This role is responsible for closing and supporting the sales of Geoline products and services to established clients, through customer visits, product demonstrations, walk-in traffic, as well as cultivating new clients through lead generation via tele-sales, and other means.
This is a technical sales role that will require domain expertise in the Survey industry as well as experience in associated industries. Knowledge of, and comfort with industry used software tools is a must. This role will work with an Enterprise Account Manager in multiple territories.
We need a candidate who is a motivated self-starter who can grow our business by finding new customers and markets. Duties will include finding and qualifying sales leads, execution of Marketing programs – including web based tools, and coordinating with both Sales representatives, and Account Managers. A successful candidate will manage aspects of a CRM to document and organize leads and clients. Other duties will include Sales quote generation, write orders, and manage communication of delivery as needed to the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Find and close sales in defined industry and territory.
• Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms.
• Conducting and planning market research activities of business groups.
• Creation of presentations and research on increase of market share and vertical market studies.
• Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
• Develop and execute a regional lead generation plan, Develop prospective customers contact database
• Grow walk-in traffic of local store
• Seek out new income generating opportunities
• Establish tele-sales campaigns, Maintaining all tele-sales campaigns detailed records
Skills and Specifications
• Technical excellence in Survey industry, proficiency in the use of Trimble Survey equipment
• Knowledge and comfort level in using industry software
• Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent telephone sales personality skills
• Should be experienced in CRM software solutions.
• Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
• Should be honest, assertive, systematic, positive and passionate.
• Perseverance and should be able to respect customer response.
Education and Qualifications
• Preferred Bachelors Technical field related field.
• PLS or LSIT preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in Survey field
• Relevant industry experience in the GeoLine Inc region.
