Curiosity only. Not from that area. What is the Gorge area and where is it near?

"The Gorge" would be the area adjoining the Columbia River (which forms the border between Oregon and Washington) running east from Portland to perhaps a couple of hundred miles east of Portland. I believe that the poster is in Hood River, which is about 65 miles east of Portland.

Thanks, Mark. Had to check out the area on GoogleEarth. I've never had the pleasure of touring that part of the world. However, based on the name of a town within 10 miles Hood River, some of my Cow relatives must have been early settlers in the area. Not sure if they were the "black sheep" of the family or if we were.
