Was up in the hills and a bit of spitting snow fell on me, it felt good for now, after all the fires and dry weather, it's hard to see any yet, up the canyon the clouds were almost down to my level, and a very light snow/mist fell for a half an hour:
The fence is one of these:
Yes a game fence, we have them too, only this one goes a long way, and it ranges from 8' tall like it is here to 12' tall, which sometimes isn't tall enough.
The purpose of that fence is to keep elk out rather than in I suppose?
Looks like GREAT elk country and weather....I almost think if I could zoom in a little...I might spot a few.
Makes me wish I was going elk hunting this year.
Seeing that it was 90?øF that felt like 95?ø to day, snow, now that is a nice thought.

Heard some bugles, haven't seen any on the game side of the fence, but do see them on the ranch side. Be nice to harvest a spike or dry cow, I'm not into the trophy thing, never made sense to me.

It been so nice to work in......40 to 50 all day, calm, cloudy......perfect.
You ever find any carcasses hung up on those fences ?
I'm heading to Rocky Mountain NP tomorrow.
Shows snow Sunday and Monday morning hopefully not to much.
Anyone have suggestions of sites to see.

No.
