I have come into possession of a Wild GDF22 optical plummet tribrach.

While the tribrach is great, the optical plummet has a tiny bit of wiggle that needs to be snugged up before I check adjustment.

I see two screws on the side of the optical plum, but they don't seem to do what I'm looking for.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

There are three screws on the top of the tribrach that hold the optical plume in place. The two small screws on the side are for adjusting the target.

Hello bykhed,

Screw the tribrach footscrews almost as tall as they can go, undo the 3 screws holding the plummet to the tribrach and drop it out. Once you have the plummet out you can check the grub screws that keep various bits from unscrewing from one another. They may be loose.

Removing the grub screws, unscrewing everything and getting into the guts is how you revive a plummet that has been infected with the condensation disease.

Perfect instructions, a tiny grub screw had just barely come loose.

Thanks guys!
