When complete, the North and South Pools will be the two largest reflecting pools in the world.
Each Pool covers the exact footprint of one of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and is 209 feet per side.

didn't I also hear they are/will be the largest man-made water falls as well?
I suppose that means by volume of water.
I think they said 25,000 gl./minute.
Or was that 25,000 gal. in total?

They already look absolutely beautiful to me but I am partial to fountains, water features, etc... Are they going to be allowed to get coins, flowers, etc...tossed into them or??? A few ducks may make that their home if allowed. 🙂

That brings up another question. Is it really 209 feet or is it 208.71 feet and someone just rounded it up to an even number.:-)

Thanks for sharing Scott.
