I have a Trimble S6 total station. It has a lighted reticle, controlled from the data collector (TSC2). On the top and bottom of the scope is a pointing aid-a circle with a bullseye. However, it does not light up, so it cannot be used at night (well maybe by shinning a flashlight into it obliquely). It looks like it could be easily swapped for a lighted version. Does anyone know if a lighted attachment exists?

The instrument is not here right now, but as I recall there are 4 small screws holding these on, it wouldn't be hard for a shop to make something, but I wanted to see if it was available already made, either from Trimble or from a third party.

How about you tape a bobber light or something to the front of the bulls eye? This would illuminate it enough at night right?
