I'm running survey controller on TSC2 and it seems sluggish at times. What's causing this? Is it possible to reinstall the os??ÿ
How many jobs you holding in there?
i don??t know about that controller- I??m a Leica guy- but archiving old jobs onto a desktop or backup every so often will clear out memory and operating speed on my stuff.

I would take the jobs off it and do a complete os reinstall. Although The TSc2's are pretty old at this point though, you'll probably get some speed back but I wouldn't expect it to ever be lightning quick.
I don't know if you can reinstall that O/S with even a Windows 7 PC... might need an older version like 2000. It has to be Active Sync, not Mobile Device Manager, if I remember correctly. I don't think I'd mess with the O/S, just take everything off it that doesn't need to be there and reset it.
Nope. You can do it with windows 10. I did it the other day on one of my old TSc2's.
Can one buy a used TSC-1 or TSC-2 and download Survey Controller off the internet?
