I am a site engineer and currently use a Leica TS16 and SC20 and to align with our company having kit switched over to Trimble. The other two surveyors use Trimble TSC7 controllers which although it is great to have the larger screen, I am concerned about the extra weight, 1400g for the TSC7 compared to 900g for the TSC5. My Leica SC20 is about 1100g and I do get some physical strain I guess mild RSI when using regularly.?ÿ
Does anyone have any advice or experience of using either Trimble with regards to ease of use, software etc. ?ÿI know the TSC7 eats batteries also. Many thanks.
