Trimble Survey Controller

I'm entering some templates into the software for construction staking purposes. I understand that Trimble Access handles roads in a similar manner.
On the left side - the design template is entered as "Crossfall and Offset" elements as I go 4:1 to the inner edge of the gutter. It's at that point I change to "Side Slope" element and specify a gutter width. (If I remember correctly this allows me to find the actual catch.)

On the right side my template ends with a flat slope that daylights. My question is to how to handle this last element. Should it be a crossfall and offset or a side slope? I'm thinking flat side slopes might be an issue with a side slope?
Anybody still use this software?
