Trimble R8s range with external radio

This is full of good information. Where would someone like myself, who isn't that smart find information, such as "CMRx uses less power" , "Watts verses Range", "30' above the ground" ? Just all these practical GNSS operation best practices?

When it wasnt windy we'd tempt fate and use 6 or 7 range pole sections to get off the ground.  Don't get me started about the tethered helium balloon at 100'+ or the real and functional 65W solar panel charging systems we built to leave on top of remote mountains for months on end for the repeaters....
