Greetings
In light of all the bad press Trimble has gotten lately, I thought I would share a positive note. Now I'm not saying Trimble wasn't deserving of some bad press regarding the TGO debacle but they also deserve a pat on the back when they do something good. In my case, I use near antique equipment such as TSC1 data collectors with software ver 7.61. I discovered that TBC will not download any ver older than 7.72. Not a huge problem since there are other ways to download the data but I would like for TBC to be able to work with my data collectors. I contacted Jarrett at Geoline and spun him my tale of woe and being the great guy that he is he offered to contact Trimble and see if he could get me an upgrade to 7.72 at no cost. A couple of weeks went by and last night Jarrett sent me the link to download and install 7.72 on my TSC1.
So, thank you Trimble and especially Jarret.

Are you sure? Have you ran it yet, are you sure you don't need a $300 cable upgrade? It doesn't expire in three days? You don't need to buy a support package with it?

Just sayin'.....Tom;-)

Okay....Kudos to Trimble.

Could it be that your vendor is the real good guy in this happy ending story? I know my guys have helped me with similar things.
