Many folks have attempted to find that out.
None have succeeded
Having said that, let me say this, I'm a Professional Land Surveyor, duly licensed to practice professional land surveying in the great state of Colorado. And more particularity in the front range.

Well without more to go on I guess I'll have to say I don't know you. As far as I know, I only know one person in Colorado and he isn't a land surveyor.

The 1980 problem-solved??
Okay, I think I got it figured out, at least the 1980 date problem. There are several different records that are used to enter station names, HI's, start/stop times, etc. I assumed that a record type 5, subrecord type 2 was ALWAYS present near the beginning of the file. This record, among other things, has the week number. I used that week number to compute the new week number, which was then used to update other records that have week numbers. Files that I collect with my receivers seem to always have that.
The dat files I got from some nearby CORS sites do NOT have that record. So, a week number of 0 was getting written into the file. I now check all week numbers in all records that have them. This fix should take care of any other missing records that I was assuming were there.
Here is the new executable, this will work if you already ran the setup program and have the other necessary files (dll's) installed:
The setup program was also updated:

Mr. itsmagic (Scott) has been reporting a problem that I think has to do with his placing the files on the desktop, rather than in a conventional directory. So, if you are placing files to be converted on the desktop, that may not work correctly.

It works great. I am not a fan of TBC, this will allow me to continue using TGO.
Thanks,

I know that one reason John Hamilton doesn't normally make his software available is that he doesn't want to spend a bunch of time on customer support, so I offer this as an observation and not as criticism: when selecting files, I notice that if I hit the CLEAR ALL button and then check individual files in a folder, the PROCESS SELECTED FILES button is greyed out. I have to hit SELECT ALL and then uncheck the files I don't want processed in order to activate the PROCESS SELECTED FILES button.
I got the job done, and want to thank John for making this application available. I don't intend to rely on the results -- I'm still uneasy with the whole backdating thing, especially when it comes to precise orbits -- but it allowed me to check to see if some reciprocal observations met the 2 cm height modernization criterion.
I'm still waiting for the TBC hardware key from my dealer. The temporary software license isn't working on my system. When I get TBC working, I'll reprocess and use those results for my deliverables.

Do you have the latest version of John's software? I had the same problem as you but before I could tell John about it he issued an update that fixed it.
