After selecting a Trimble xxxxx.RT27 stream file (internet logging) to convert to a RINEX the proram will crash.
It opens the file fine, then displays all the header information. However once i click the File Convert command the program gives me the following error:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in you applicaiton.... "
"GPS week number out of range"
"Parameter name:gpsTime."
************** Exception Text **************

Any ideas?
looks like the billion second problem with Trimble. Was a link to converter on here to take your data back a few years and you can post-process. Not sure how that is going. Do not post process much anymore.

I don't know if Rinex Dates will be any help in your case with a xxxx.RT27 file. The program requires a Rinex file and that appears to be your problem- getting your file converted to rinex. The Rinex Dates file utility can be found under the "Services" tab on this webpage. John Hamilton has a program that works with the raw .dat file but again I'm uncertain if it will be of help to you with a .rt27 file.
Loyal Olson on this board is a rinex guru, maybe he can help.
Hi Lance
(Hi John ... it's been a while)
may be a bug in the program,
Have you tried downloading the latest version from trimble.com or you may try to go back to an older version and see if you get the same error.
Your gps file may be corrupt ...

It looks like teqc supports the Trimble RT27 Streaming File, so that would be my next move.
You can get there from here:

We have been away at our cabin on the Klamath River in California. We just got home this past weekend.

Thanks all!
There must be something different between the Ethernet RT-27 stream and an RS-232 stream that TEQC says they support. Because when I use TEQC all I get is a zero byte file. I'll be onsite at the reference station in a couple days and will play around with the NtripCaster settings to see if there is a simple toggle that will allow the output to be recognized.
