Hello.?ÿ I inherited a really nice Lieca TCRA1103 Plus total station and Allegro Data Collector.?ÿ This instrument has the external radio and early tracking technology.?ÿ I got the Lieca working with the Carlson software installed on an Allegro data collector.
At work we use trimble exclusively,?ÿ newer equipment with Access/Tcs3.?ÿ I would like to use the Lieca 1103 for side jobs but I dont want to affect my field performance by using the Allegro data collector (different software and keyboard layout).
Some questions:
1.?ÿ Will latest Trimble Access software link up with the Lieca and Lieca Modem?
2.?ÿ If Access wont work with the Lieca instrument, can I run BOTH Access and Carlson on the Tcs3.?ÿ Basically,?ÿ I would?ÿ use one Collector and switch between software's depending on the job I am doing.

Trimble Access has no Leica drivers.

If the TSC3 is WinCE it may work but if it's Windows Mobile I don't think it will work.?ÿ Carlson has SurvCE and SurvPC.....I've never seen a WinMobile versionl.?ÿ Ask Carlson, you'd have to talk to them to move the license anyway.
