@jph it was more a general question about moving during the ƒ??SITƒ? phase of your career; I was purposely general because I was trying to elicit anecdotes about peopleƒ??s experiences and with moving during this phase. I know things will vary greatly between states, perhaps.

I have a bachelors degree unrelated to surveying and 4 years in the industry, so luckily Iƒ??ve got a pretty good foundation to work from.

Iƒ??ve learned a lot through this post. Chances are, I wonƒ??t even leave Texas. Haha

@k-huerth - Absolutely!?ÿ As long as the surveying experience was gained under the responsible charge of a person licensed to practice in that jurisdiction and that person verifies your experience/abilty, it is acceptable surveying experience.
