A bit of help I need! I bought a type of GPT-7503 total station last year.The control software Topsurv 7.5.1. But this software is full of errors (re-calculation, height transfer etc.). When released the 8.1 version of Onboard I installed the instrument. Unfortunately, the instrument repeatedly freeze and stop the operation of the memory. The local dealer says that in fact the only Topsurv 8 QS and IS instrument should work with. We do not really want to believe. Surveyor who is with you this type of instrument is it? And use it without problem onboard Topsurv 8 version?

This may be a dumb question but, did you uninstall the last version? I had a the same instrument 2 years ago with Topsurv 6.04 and never had a problem.

Of course. Just do not understand why the manufacturer's website to download a version that does not work in this type. The current (7.5.1) a lot of error in the software. Traverse the computer does not work. The line is not part of a major operation. The height transfer error count. Sometimes it does not recognize one of the control points. etc.
Maybe the Carlson CE works more reliably? Only in Hungary do not get an answer to my questions, unfortunately.
