Got a loaner set Friday...does anybody know if the battery lights quit blinking when these things are fully charged? They sure have been blinking a good long time (almost 6 hrs.)....

Hmm, from memory.. seems like they blink red for a while, then change to blinking orange as the charge fills up, then change to blink green until they're fully charged, at which point they stay solid green. Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what the topcon gr3 does..these hipers just flash green. But anyway...they finally went to solid green..over six hours on charge. The dealer told me they were charged when I picked them up...

silly me..believing an equipment salesman...what a laugh!

When the salesman said they were charged, he probably meant he put them on the bill.

The Battery Status light on a HiPer receiver blinks green when the charge status is 85% or above. From 84% down to 15% it will blink amber. When it begins to blink red, the unit is below 15% charge remaining on the internal batteries.

Note: the battery light will to continue to blink about once every 15 seconds unless the unit is in zero-power mode. So even if the unit is "off" the battery status light will continue to blink.
