Topcon GTS 3B -Upper Horizontal Tangent Screw

Hello All,

I have a Topcon GTS 3B that is in relatively good condition.?ÿ I am only the second owner.

On a recent survey?ÿ the Upper Tangent Motion Clamp was not locking the horizontal motion and the Upper Horizontal Tangent Screw was slipping.

I tightened the hex screws on the motion clamp and it fixed the locking issue but the tangent screw is still slipping. I'm thinking on sending it in to ESC for a calibration and repair but thought I would check in here first.

Should (can)?ÿ I fix this thing myself?
