Hi guys. Bought this topcon 8203a with the 2R remote thing and the Rc2000 dc. Sorrry if im hacking up these names but im not around them at the moment. I have 2 jobs to do today and cant find anything on how to connect and run all this stuff. Kinda freaking out. Please help! TIA

RC2 sits either on top or just below the prism depending on the adapter. Serial type cable from RC to data collector.
The total station must be set to "External Link" mode under "Remote Control" under "Programs" which should be accessible by pressing the F6 function key.
I assume the controller is actually an FC-2000.?ÿ If there are no radios with it you may want to look in to a pair of Parani bluetooth adapters.?ÿ You'll need a pair to get enough range, plus antennas for the Parani radios in the 3 Db to 5 Db gain range.?ÿ The short antennas that come with the Paranis are unity gain and will only provide very short range (100 feet or so).?ÿ You'll also want to get the extended battery pack for the Paranis.
