Article in today's WSJ about people who go out and find & report on old bench marks. Quotes from NGS staff and Dave Doyle. Very glowing article about the wonderful work these people do and how it's an important service.
Needless to say nothing was mentioned about some of the garbage we have seen and mentioned here or nothing about the shoddy work of the Power Squadron.
Oh well, I guess sometimes the real truth really doesn't need to be told.

That would be great if finding PLSS corners would become a fad.
