Wait a minute. The last attorney that asked me for those things said everyone else was doing it. Felt like Junior High. But it sounds like you guys aren't doing it either. This is really shaking my confidence in the integrity of attorneys.
Integrity and Attorneys, now that is funny.............
We sometimes set a cotton picker spindle when a corner falls in asphalt. For those of you who don't know, a cotton picker spindle is about 4" long, 1/2" in diameter and has a geared head on top. They make good markers. I set one of these for a corner on an ALTA survey. The attorney's title opinion stated that the property was subject to the encroachment of a cotton picker spindle.
Another attorney, working on one of our property descriptions that had a curve, asked when did surveyors start measuring in arcs.
