I am running a PS 103 Topcon robot and after leveling it up to zero on the x and y axis I turn it 90 to check it and its over a minute off. It has never been that bad usually only a few seconds. Just had it calibrated a month or so ago. Are there any adjustments I can make to adjust this or is this a send it back in kind of a deal.
Thanks
If you're dealing with the electronic bubble, there should be a self check routine that will take care of the problem. With the 9003 I found that I had to run the self check routine every couple of weeks, especially if there were large temp changes.
thanks just ran the check and still out over a minute. Looks like it needs to go to the shop.
Level up the gun really well run the tilt offset routine, then re level run the collmination routine, then run the image sensor reticle offset routine all in the menu under instrument constants. Sokkia guns are very picky about temperature changes and since they are the same as topcons I would guess they are the same. Re check your circles after and see how you come out if they are still off then service.
The manual for the 9003 states that the instrument has to be within 30"+- of level for the routine to run. I always leveled it, turned it 180°, adjusted out half the difference on each axis then ran the self check routine.

I have one of those robots and running both the tilt offset and collimation routines has fixed the problem in the past.
