Before getting your blood pressure up over the robot not communicating with the data collector, try to remember whether or not you screwed the antenna onto the robot before walking way the heck down the street for a backsight.

Make sure all 4 communication lights are burning steady too... I found out I gotta jiggle a switch about 50% of the time now...

Also, If the robot won't find you, make sure you remembered to take the lens cap off the instrument before walking about 400 feet to the back sight. Don't ask how I figured that one out! 🙂

At least when I forget to remove the protective velcro wrap from the prism it doesn't cost me a trip back to the gun.;-)

Have never had that problem. Have no immediate plans to make that problem possible, either. I prefer a helper who can dig the holes and cut the line.
