My two kids have just got their drivers licences.

We made sure they learned, and sat their tests, in cars with manual transmissions.

We went and bought a manual car for that purpose. Well at least that was the excuse for my wife picking up a Fiat X1/9.

Joshua now says he much prefers a manual - even in traffic.

if there were more manual transmissions in cars on the roads, things would be safer in the texting cell phone category.

Now it's difficult to get a manual, I relented and got an automatic on the new Wrangler, it's been ok do far,,,,,,but still prefer the manual.

I just looked on Ford's website and it appears the F150 is only available with 6 speed automatic.

Looking online it appears you can get a small Toyota, Nissan, or Chevrolet pickup with manual.
