Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right section to ask this question, but I guess I'm trying educate myself. So.....

I have a Leica TCRP1205 (non-plus model) with a broken ATR card or camera (I haven't investigated to any great extent yet).

I also have a fully functional TCRA1103+ XR that won't calibrate because it has been dropped. It took a big hit, but the electronics are fine.

Would anyone know if the ATR cards / cameras are the same? I know the 1200 has a longer range EDM card and a different operating system, but realistically, a 1200 (non-plus model) seems to be a lot more closely related to an 1100+ model than it is to a 1200+ model.

Any gurus out there care to grab a coffee and share their knowledge?

Merry Christmas from zie Vaterland.

Mick.

Well, Christmas time means too much time, so I had a look myself.

Nope. No joy. There is no way that they are compatible. Oh well.

One thing I do know is that the seals used in survey instruments are frangible. Meaning that once you open it up once you need to replace the seals to maintain full waterproof-ness. Not a huge issue if you don't use it in the rain like we do here in the Pacific Northwest.
