You Do Know That If You Pass The Exams

It's what I look like 24/7. Constructive notice that you are not in Kansas anymore!

Having the ticket is one thing. Getting on and riding to where you really need to be is something completely different.

Everything changes as we go along. Some is because of what we make happen. Some is because of what happens to us. You mentioned the autoimmune thing. Right now stepping up on a curb hurts, so I can forget traipsing through the wilderness packed down with a load of gear for some time. Flexibility is extremely important. Deciding whether your child's ball game is more important than an extra few hours on the job can be a tough, but very important decision. Knowing when to admit you simply don't know is critical. Sometimes even the pros can use a little help from some silly looking soccer player in a football uniform. Don't be afraid to think outside the box. Sometimes you will find you are then thinking like the surveyor whose footsteps you are trying to follow. 2 + 2 frequently equals 4.04. North is where you find it if you are the retracer and where you decide it is when you are the first one out there. It depends. Remember that. It always depends. What it depends upon is the hard question to be answered. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Descriptions do not always run clockwise (or counterclockwise) no matter what some new-fangled statute may tell you. You have to think like the guy who went whichever way if you are the retracer. 5280 is a starting point. That's all it is. Some people aren't worthy of your time no matter how much money they say they will give you for your allegiance to their cause. Some days, life sucks. Other days are worse. Keep searching for the remainder of the days. At some point in your career you will discover that there is some thing/procedure/area/practice/theory that you know more about than anyone else on Earth. How you deal with that realization will define how others deal with you once they become aware of that fact. No one knows everything, but, in any field there can be one person who stands above the rest. Listen to others, then follow your heart based on your own knowledge and experience. The "other guy" can't possibly be wrong in every case. Who does that leave? If you can't be proud of what you do, why should anyone else?

Be sure to take the ACSM Surveying Terms and Definitions - This is really the only book I used. There were at least ten questions that were a slam dunk from that. Be sure to not forget about the appendix in the back of the book, I recall there being an answer or two back there. Know your types of evidence.
