We finally got it and it is cool!?ÿ There is something to be aware of though.?ÿ It has Bluetooth, but, no built in RF.?ÿ You need an external device to connect to with Bluetooth that will then connect to the instruments via RF.?ÿ Right now I am assuming that this isn't going to be a delay, but, it could be ...?ÿ I can say that I am now sold on the Android version being the future as this thing is light, colorful, fits in a pocket and appears tough.?ÿ It runs Access 2020 and I am sure that like all new software, we will find bugs.?ÿ One of the thing that I like is that I can write programs for it being just an Android device.?ÿ No point in a review from me as Gavin has already done it https://www.xyht.com/surveying/android-access-2020/
My scaling items are a standard pen and an HO Ariel Atom 3D printed from a laser scan in wax then using lost wax to brass
?ÿ
If you are still running Access 2020.00, make sure you update to 2020.01.?ÿ There were a handfull of bugs that have been worked out.
Trimble's first Android version of Access, what could go wrong?
Hi norm, wondering what sort of bracket you are using with the tdc600 if attaching to a pole? Wanting to attach a smartphone to pole and figure seco/Trimble must have an option sorted already.
Sadly, I believe Norm passed away last year.
