I have the latest TBC Access with roads but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the information I need for the stake. What I want is to find the catch point, then offset it (5 feet in this case) and get the C/F and Offsets from the 5 foot offset to all the points.

I have a centerline control (*.rxl) with assigned templates that are generally represented by the following sketch.

I can stake the catch point and get a report for marking the stake as follows;

But if I store the catch point then offset it 5 feet I get junk. It appears to contain the staking error as the information for the hinge and I'm not sure what the centerline information represents;

Has anybuddy figured out how to slope stake with TBC?

Those reports are for two different points but the answers are still just as confusing.

If it isn't over the grade checkers head, he gets 25' o/s edge of pvmt with an elevation and fill/cut. Make the rest look good. My 2 cents, Jp

You got further than I did. Only used it on a couple of small jobs so far. In survey controller one of the stake options was Slope Stake and then you picked the offset and slope you wanted, found the catch point, then hit report and it was all there. Haven't found that in Access. Hopefully somebody chimes in with some details.

Are you setting the 5' horizontal offset in before you stake it?

Yes, I tried the 5 foot construction offset. No dice.

You can set the offset you want right after you store your catch point, but it won't apply the catch point to the offset point.
