I have TBC ver 2.6 and have been working my way through the tutorials. I just finished the Least Squares Adjustment module. I noticed one area where it differs from TGO significantly in that you can now assign a certain amount of error to your control coordinates. I hadn't heard about this before so I don't know if previous versions of TBC employed this feature or not. I haven't tried a comparison adjustment yet but it seems like a good feature to me.

Do any of the other LSQ Adj packages do this? I doubt Trimble is a leader with this idea.

I thought that ALL Least Squares programs had that option.

I have always constrained the CORS coordinate estimates as partial fixities.

Until recently I used the SOPAC “SECTOR” modeled coordinate estimates (they are currently re-running their Time Series it appears), and those estimates included rms values (usually in the 3-5mm range).

Using the New NGS Multiyear data, I have been using 5mm (XYZ), and that seems to work very well.

It's possible that I am just now becoming aware of something that TBC has been able to do all along but I know TGO never had that ability. I would suppose that if you always used high quality control to constrain your network there wouldn't be much change in your results. Any time you can identify and assign error to the correct variable I think is a good thing to do.
