Why would you need all the deeds for a topo?

Okay. We have a scope of services issue. I would call the projects a topo and boundary survey if there is deed work involved. In this case I would think that the 2,200 bid is about what it would cost if there were no issues with the boundary determination.

If you add in a boundary, unless the lot is in a platted subdivision with all the corners in and undisturbed, the cost could easily exceed $2200.

Tedd Here's the kicker

A bank VP called me Monday and needed an ALTA on a $1.2M apartment building done by Friday. I told him "no can do" - but I can have an ILC done by then. He called back Tuesday AM and said "it's a go" - I said "Oakie Dokie" -- All for $925.00

One afternoon, a wealthy surveyor was riding in the back of his limousine when he saw two men eating grass by the roadside. He ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate.

“Why are you eating grass?” he asked one man.

“We don’t have any money for food,” the poor man replied.

“Oh, well, you can come with me to my house,” instructed the surveyor.

“But, sir, I have a wife and two kids with me!”

“Bring them along!” said the surveyor. He turned to the other man and said, “You come with us, too.”

“But, Sir, I have a wife and six kids!” he answered.

“Bring them as well!” answered the surveyor, as he headed for his limo.

They all climbed into the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine.Once underway, one of the poor fellows says, “Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you.”

The surveyor replied, “Glad to do it. You’ll love my place. The grass is almost a foot tall!”

Dane

You are mistaking TDD for a real person.

It's a common error.

There is no need to respond to his fantastic posts.
